We have also signed the contract for our reception site of Dave and Buster's. That comes with the food, catering staff, drinks, champagne toast, and projection screen for the slideshow. We get to choose what color table cloths and napkins we want, and are getting a good start on the centerpieces (you'll have to wait for the reception to see what they are).
It seems like most of the major things have been worked out, and the wedding is still over a year away! One we get the engagement pictures taken, we'll be able to start working on the save-the-dates. I can't wait for my friends and family to come to Nashville and see what my new home is like!
One a non-wedding note, the cats have become much more relaxed around the dog, but still don't trust her. Doce sleeps at the foot of the bed, and now Roxy will actually jump up and sleep by my head (as long as my legs are bent in a way so she can't actually see the dog). The cats (especially Judy) have realized how much power they have over Doce, and have begun to use it against her. I think Judy is feeling jealous and threatened by the dog, so she likes to sit near a doorway so Doce can't get in or out of the room (Doce is afraid to walk too close to the cats). But we found they all have something in common, a love for laser pointers!
What are you wedding colors going to be?
ReplyDeleteThat is so awesome that you have gotten things booked already. I can't wait to hear more wedding details!!!
Roxie is very cautious of Matthew but doesn't step down as far as being afraid... she actually boxes with him, crazy cat. Petie "disciplines" Matt too, it's great.
That was me- Lindsay, in case you weren't sure... still getting used to blogger!
